The Project includes engineering, procurement, construction, installation of 380 kV overhead energy transmission line between Atatürk Dam and Göksun situated at the south-east of Turkey.


Main construction works covered:

Excavation of pole foundations and levelling,
Concrete foundation steel poles and equipment supports,
Construction of 13.125 m concrete cable trench,
Construction of steel poles and equipment supports,
Conductor stringing, sagging and terminations.

The route of the OHTL crosses through special zones with harsh climatic conditions.

The 2 lines are parallel and 360 km in total. The purpose of the construction of the power transmission line is to back up the increasing power demand in western industrial areas of Turkey. North route is 169 km and south route is 170 km in total. 427 poles are constructed in north route and 424 in south route.

The project is completed within 18 months and it is one of the unique HV energy transmission line projects in Turkey considering the difficult geographical and climatic conditions.
