Iraq - Turkey Crude Oil Pipeline, one of the two major export routes of Iraq, transports the crude oil mainly produced in Kirkuk Area, north of Iraq. 986 km long First Pipeline System has an annual transport capacity of 35 million t. Out of 986 km, 345 km section is in Iraq and the remaining 641 km section is in Turkey, reaching Ceyhan export terminal situated in the south of Turkey, on the Mediterranean Coast. Tekfen undertook the construction of two sub-sections of 70 km and 85 km crude oil pipeline system within Turkey and successfully delivered according to the schedule.
