Ain Dar and Shedgum lie on the inner eastern deserts of Saudi Arabia on Ghawar Oil Fields, by far the world's largest conventional oil field accounting for more than half of Saudi Arabia's cumulative oil production. Although it is a single field, it is divided into six areas: Fazran, Ain Dar, Shedgum, Utmaniyah, Haradh and Hawiyah.

Tekfen has been active in the area as a successful hydrocarbon and civil projects contractor since the beginning of the 80's.

78,2 km x 56" QUAD-1 Pipeline connects Qurayah Desalination Plant to the Water Injection Plant at Ain Dar. North Ain Dar Injection Header extends as a 32,8 km pipeline with dia. range between 10"and 30" whereas the Central Header lies on 4,3 km with a 16" dia. The system also includes Surge Tank Facilities and Scraper Trap relocation.
