Within Project308, 1.2 Capacity Expansion System via Drag Reducing Agent (DRA) project has been performed in order to improve the flow capacity of the pipeline up to 1.2 million barrels at all of the pump stations and block valve terminals over the BTC Crude Oil Pipeline. Provisional acceptance of the project was on 15 September 2009.
Within Project313 - Enhancement project, in addition to construction of IDS, camera systems, access control systems, sliding gates, road blockers and security buildings on behalf of improved security, also some auxiliary buildings, patrol roads and lighting, fire&gas systems, pig cleaning stations, oily seperator systems, earthing systems, illimunated buoys etc. have been constructed over the BTC Crude Oil Pipeline as well as power backup& compensation and pump&valve changeout works. Provisional acceptance of all enhancement works was on 10 December 2009.
Within Project318, Security Upgrade & Reinstatement project has been performed at BVT30 valve terminal. Provisional acceptance of all enhancement works was on 15 December 2009.
Within Project315 – Repair project, miscellaneous repair works have been performed under the umbrealla contract with call of orders over the BTC Pipeline, Turkish Section. There has been a total of 37 call of orders as of April 2011, which included engineering services by Tekfen Muhendislik, and various Civil, Mechanical and Electrical works. Project315 includes main oil line valve changeouts and piping works at PT1&PT3, piping works and geohazard works at rivercrossing and landslide areas over the pipeline which are still ongoing.
Ongoing works of Project315 are planned to be completed on 31 August 2011 as the latest situation and contractual duration is expected to be extended till the end of 2011 with additional repair works. New contract is expected to be signed with BTC Co. for 2012 works which will be clarified on the second half of 2011.
